Sunday’s NA meeting postponed till Monday

KATHMANDU: The National Assembly (NA) meeting summoned for coming Sunday has been postponed till the next day Monday.

Secretary General of the Parliament Secretariat Bharat Raj Gautam, in a notice, said the NA meeting was postponed due to special reasons.

The main opposition party CPN-UML has been obstructing the parliament since the start of the 8th session of the parliament.

Though Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba convened an all-party meeting Thursday to sort out the obstruction in the parliament, the UML did not attend the meeting.

UML is obstructing the parliament saying that Speaker Agni Sapkota has played a role in party split.
