NC makes public active membership-list of three more districts

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress has made public the list of active members of additional three districts. The list of active members of Dhanusha, Sarlahi and Kailali was released on Tuesday night, informed Mahadev Prasad Yadav, the coordinator of Central Election Committee.

Now only the list of active members of four districts is yet to be made public. The NC has already completed the ward convention and begun to hold village/municipal convention from Saturday in the districts with the active memberships unveiled.

The ward convention is yet to be conducted in 12 districts and the convention will be held at one go once the list of active memberships of all the districts comes out, said Yadav.

The NC has around 900,000 active members who will vote in the ward convention of the party.

Active members elect ward committees and regional representatives.
