Government violating parliamentary values: UML Chairman Oli



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML chairperson and former Prime Minister KP Oli has come down heavily on the government for violating parliamentary values ​​and acting arbitrarily.

He said that the ordinance, which has been issued once, cannot be returned.

Talking to editors in Kathmandu on Tuesday, Chairman Oli said that another ordinance or law is needed to repeal one ordinance.

Oli further stated that the law should be made by the parliamentarians while the parliament is in session.

“The ordinance was brought with malicious intent,” he said adding that now the ordinance has been withdrawn through information by deceiving the parliament.

Chairman Oli also alleged the government led by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba for moving ahead by violating the constitution, democracy, and the parliamentary system.
