North Korean Embassy requests Khabarhub to delete ‘unproductive articles’

KATHMANDU: The North Korean Embassy in Nepal has requested Khabarhub to delete its ‘unproductive articles’ about North Koreans in Nepal.

In a letter to Khabarhub, the embassy has claimed that articles published on Khabarhub from 9th to 24th April on illegal activities of North Koreans in Nepal are ‘far from representing realities as they really are’.

“Such articles seriously defamed the image of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and did harm to the existing friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries,” the embassy said in the letter.

The embassy has requested Khabarhub to do best to prevent a recurrence of such ‘unhappy articles’.

Khabarhub had carried a series of stories on North Korean hackers running cyber espionage from Nepal and had also published an exclusive story about North Korean doctors working illegally in Nepal’s hospitals.
