CPN-UML holding Central Committee meeting today

To dwell on statute amendment proposal



KATHMANDU: Main opposition CPN-UML has called a meeting of the Central Committee (CC) of the party today.

The CC meeting will be held at Tulsilal Memorial Foundation at Chyasal, Lalitpur, informed party central office Secretary Sher Bahadur Tamang.

According to Tamang, the CC meeting will endorse the political dossier, organizational report, statute amendment proposal among others.

The Standing Committee (SC) meeting of the party has already endorsed these proposals. They will be submitted in the UML Statute Convention once they are passed by the CC meeting.  The CC meeting will run until Saturday.

UML is holding Statute Convention in Kathmandu on October 1-3. More than 3,000 representatives will participate in the General Convention, according to a UML leader.
