KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) has passed two bills related to the budget.

The HoR meeting held Thursday passed the Fiscal Bill 2021 and the National Debt Raising Bill 2021 by a majority.

Speaker Agni Sapkota pushed the agenda of the meeting amid obstruction by the main opposition party CPN-UML.

The HoR had already passed Appropriation Bill 2021 and sent it to National Assembly, which also endorsed the Appropriation Bill Thursday.

The parliament passed all the three bills related to the budget by a majority. With this, the budget holiday came to an end, paving way for the government to mobilize state funds.
