Nepal ends AFC Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers with Hong Kong draw



KATHMANDU: Nepal ended their AFC Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers campaign with a draw against Hong Kong on Tuesday.

The result also meant Nepal’s hopes of playing the AFC Cup came to an end.

In the match at the JAR Stadium in Tashkent, Nepal held plenty of possession but was unable to find the break the deadlock.

Nepal had lost its first match against the Philippines. Nepal lead much of the match against the Philippines but was denied victory after two late goals.
