UML Standing Committee forwards proposals to Central Committee



KATHMANDU: The UML has decided to take proposals submitted to Standing Committee (SC) to the Central Committee (CC).

The proposed political, organizational and statute amendment reports presented to  the SC meetings on Sunday and Monday will be forwarded to the CC, said Yogesh Bhattarai, head of the publicity department of UML.

The two days UML SC meeting discussed the proposed political report prepared by Chairman KP Sharma Oli, organizational report prepared by General Secretary Ishwor Pokhrel and statute amendment report prepared by Deputy General Secretary Bishnu Prasad Poudel. SC members gave their view about the provision on the reports.

The proposed reports have been prepared to table them at the Statute Convention slated for October 1-3.

Bhattarai said the proposals would also receive suggestions from the CC.

The UML has scheduled its CC meeting for September 24-25.
