Vice President Pun emphasizes full implementation of Constitution



KATHMANDU: Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun has emphasized that full implementation of the Constitution is essential to build a prosperous and equitable society.

In a congratulatory message on the occasion of the Constitution Day Sunday, Vice President Pun said, “I urge all Nepalis to comply with the constitution and to protect and promote it. Since the constitution is a dynamic document, we can make it further rich.”

Terming Asoj 3 as the golden day in the history of Nepal as the constitution was promulgated on this day, he expressed heartfelt condolences and regards to those losing their lives to various political uprisings in the country over different times. He also extended high regard for those injured in those movements.

“Our constitution has institutionalized the rights obtained by the Nepali citizens through various struggles besides institutionalizing federal democratic republic, secularism and proportional inclusiveness with social justice among others,” he said.
