HoR meeting taking place at 1 pm today

UML likely to disrupt

KATHMANDU: The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is taking place even today.

This is the first meeting of the parliament since the government introduced the budget through the replacement bill. The meeting will be held at 1 pm.

However, UML is preparing to disrupt today’s meeting. The main opposition CPN-UML is agitated after the government brought the budget through a replacement bill amidst protest on Friday.

Meanwhile, UML has been accusing Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota of helping to split the UML. UML is angry after Speaker Sapkota, who suspended the proceedings of 14 lawmakers from the party for 13 days, said that the decision should not be taken only after the party splits.

UML lawmaker Naradmuni Rana said that the meeting would not be held until the speaker admits his mistake.
