DANG: Dang police has arrested three individuals on the alleged charge for gang-raping a girl in the district.
Acting on a complaint lodged by an 18-year-old girl, police rounded up Pawan Roka, 27, Bina Ram Marsyangi, 27, and Yam Bahadur Maski, 20, of Bangala rural municipality-7, Birkhe, said DSP Mukunda Prasad Rijal, the spokesperson of District Police Office, (DPO), Dang.
The accused trio raped her while she was returning home on early morning after participating in a Teej program organized in her relative’s house.
Rijal said they are investigating the case after taking the ‘rapists’ into custody.
