Meeting of ruling coalition begins at Baluwatar

Focuses on MCC



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the top-notch leaders of the ruling alliance has begun at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has convened a meeting of the five-party coalition to discuss the issue of passing the MCC from the parliament and the visit of MCC Vice-President Fatema Sumar to Nepal.

Chief Personal Secretary to Prime Minister Deuba, Bhanu Deuba informed that the meeting had started few minutes ago.

NC President and Prime Minister Deuba, General Secretary Purna Bahadur Khadka, CPN-Maoist Center Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda, CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal, Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Chairman Upendra Yadav and Rastriya Janamorcha (RJM) vice President Durga Poudel are attending the meeting.

Incumbent ministers are also participating in the meeting. Following the meeting of the ruling coalition, the Prime Minister Deuba will a meeting of the Council of Ministers.
