Parliament should run on the basis of consensus: PM Deuba



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba said the time has come to run the parliament with consensus among the ruling and opposition parties.

It is normal that there may be differences in content, but the rule, process, and system should be abided by where the ruling alliance can create favorable atmosphere, he added.

PM Deuba said it during a meeting of the top leaders of the ruling coalition held at Singha Durbar Wednesday.

He also reminded that important bills were under consideration in the parliament.

The meeting was held to discuss how the parliament could be run smoothly, according to CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Dev Gurung.
