KATHMANDU: A meeting has been held between Chairman of Federal Council of the Janata Samajwadi Party Dr. Baburam Bhattarai and US Ambassador to Nepal Randy Berry Wednesday.

Ambassador Berry and Dr. Bhattarai held talks at a hotel in Kathmandu, sources said.

The meeting has been considered crucial at a time when the Parliament is set to table and discuss the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Meanwhile, it should also be noted that MCC vice-president Fatema Sumar is visiting Nepal this week to hold a discussion on MCC.
