Met predicts rains amid thunderstorms until next 3 days



KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has predicted rains amid thunderstorms in various places of the country until the next three days.

The weather is generally to fully cloudy across the country due to low pressure monsoon trough lying in the north-west of the Bay of Bengal, according to the MFD.

Light to moderate rains are currently occurring in various parts of Pradesh 1, Pradesh 2, Gandaki, Lumbini Pradesh.

According to the Division, heavy rains are forecast in Pradesh 1, Bagmati Pradesh, Gandaki and Lumbini Pradesh.

Similarly, the heavy rains with thunderstorms are likely in some places of Gandaki, Sudurpashchim and Karnali Province and in one or two places of Pradesh 1, Bagmati and Lumbini Pradesh tonight.
