Landslide kills grandma and grandson in Rolpa

KATHMANDU: Two people have died in a landslide that occurred in Rolpa district on Monday morning.

The deceased have been identified as a five-year-old minor and his grandmother Gauri Thapa,70, after her house collapsed near the ward office in Rolpa municipality-10.

The victims are the grandmother and grandson, informed Chief District Officer Nawaraj Sapkota.

Two others have sustained injures in the incident. The injured are father and daughter.
