BUTWAL: The Palpa-Butwal road section under the Rampur-Siddhartha Highway will be closed today as well.

The road will be closed on Friday to remove the landslide in Dumre of Tansen Municipality-8.

According to the District Administration Office, Palpa, the road will be closed from 7 pm to 6 am on Friday.

The road is being closed to remove the landslide in the highway area.

A meeting chaired by Palpa Chief District Officer Yogendra Prasad Pandey has decided to ban the operation of vehicles other than ambulances for two nights on Friday.

Passengers have been suffering from landslides on the Palpa-Butwal section of the Siddhartha Highway time and again.
