Society’s contribution remarkable in educational development: Province Chief Gurung



KATHMANDU: Gandaki Province Chief Prithvi Man Gurung has said that there was a remarkable contribution of society in educational development.

Inaugurating the 62nd anniversary of Prithvi Narayan Campus today, Province Chief Gurung opined that the investment in educational development has now helped to produce capable human resources.

He stressed that it would be easier for students coming from low-income families to pursue higher education if there is support for all in the academic and physical development of the campus.

Similarly, the founder of the campus, George John, mentioned that the role of the then locals, as well as educationalists, was remarkable for the establishment and operation of the campus.

Likewise, Campus Chief Prof Dr Saroj Koirala and Chief of Management Faculty Dr Nir Bahadur Karki, shed light on the activities of the campus.

Province Chief Gurung also visited a memorial building constructed at campus premises.
