Unified Socialist senior leader Khanal returns to country after two and a half months



KATHMANDU: Senior leader of newly-formed CPN Unified Socialist Jhala Nath Khanal has returned to the country after spending two and a half months in India.

He was admitted to Apollo Hospital in New Delhi for Kidney transplant for the past two and a half months.

Upon his arrival, Unified Socialist Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal along with other leaders welcomed Khanal at Tribhuvan International Airport Monday.

Leaders welcoming him wished for his speedy recovery and urged him to return to active politics thereafter.
