PM Deuba and Maoist Center Chair Prachanda hold talks

Meeting dwells on cabinet expansion

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ have held a meeting on Saturday morning.

Maoist Center Chairman Prachanda reached Baluwatar this morning to meet with Prime Minister Deuba.

“The meeting between Prime Minister Deuba and Maoist Center Chairman Dahal focused on the expansion of the Council of Ministers. Both of them agreed to expand the cabinet as soon as possible,” informed Ganga Dahal, the daughter of Chairman Dahal.

The cabinet is yet to get a full shape even though Prime Minister Deuba assumed the responsibility of the prime minister on July 13.

Although Deuba is trying to complete the cabinet by expanding his leadership immediately, it has been delayed due to internal wrangling between the parties within the alliance.
