Garbage collection from Mt Everest area expedited



KATHMANDU: Collection of garbage from Mt Everest area has been accelerated in coordination with Nepal Army

So far, 2,000 kg of garbage has been brought to Kathmandu from Mt Everest area while 2,000 kg was taken to Okhaldhunga, said Spokesperson of NA, Bigyan Dev Pandey.

The clean-up campaign has been launched in the coordination of Ministry of Forest and Environment, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation, State government, Nepal Mountaineering Association, Khumbu Pasang Lhamu rural municipality and Nepal Army.
