Will unite with Maoists within four months to become the largest party: Socialist leader Metmani

KATHMANDU: Leader of the proposed CPN-Unified (Socialist) Metmani Chaudhary has claimed that his party would unite with the CPN Maoist Center to become the largest in the country in four months.

Stating that they would try to unity all communist forces, Chaudhary said his party would not, however, join hands with the CPN-UML party.

Speaking to journalists at the Election Commission (EC) during the process of verification of the proposed party members Wednesday, Chaudhary said they would be the biggest party in the country.

He claimed to forge consensus and unity with the Left parties in the near future.
