UML Chair Oli appeals to all leaders including Nepal to return to mother party

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has appealed to the leaders including the proposed CPN-Unified (Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal to return to their mother party.

Speaking at a press conference organized at Tulsilal Memorial Foundation in Chyasal, Lalitpur, Chairman Oli urged all the UML leaders Including chairman Nepal to return to the mother party.

“I have no prejudices and the party will forgive for the work done by the leaders before. I would like to request you all to return to the CPN-UML,” said Oli.

Meanwhile, Oli took a serious exception to the ordinance on the political party split brought by the government  describing it as an ill intension of the government to split the party.

UML, which was earlier on the brink of collapse, has gradually returned to the rhythm of unity after chairman Oli took a big chunk of leaders including Bhim Rawal, who earlier had sided with Nepal-Khanal faction, into his camp.

Oli was able to do so after he agreed to return the party to the status of May 16, 2018 and decided to conduct the 10th General Convention of the party on November 26-29 in the Kathmandu Valley.
