KATHMANDU: The leaders of the Poudel faction of the Nepali Congress (NC) are holding a meeting with election committee of the party today.
The meeting is taking place at the residence of former General Secretary Prakash Man Singh in Chaksibari.
The meeting will dwell on the ward convention scheduled for September 3, it is learnt.
NC leaders including senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel, General Secretary Shashanka Koirala, Arjun Narasingha KC will participate in the meeting.
Sources have said that Poudel will brief the participants on the active membership report submitted by the task-force.
Similarly, the meeting will also dwell on the district presidents of the Poudel faction who are currently staging a sit-in.
