PM Deuba, Prachanda and Nepal in Baluwatar

Discussing cabinet expansion

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda and CPN-UML (Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal are holding discussions at Baluwatar.

According to Baluwatar sources, the three leaders are dwelling on the latest political issues including the cabinet expansion and the ordinance brought to facilitate the division of political parties and the work of the government.

Nepal who has formed a new party with more than 20 percent central committee members in line with the ordinance on the political party split brought by the Deuba-led government, is also mulling its participation in the government in the meeting.

It is said that the three heavyweights of the ruling coalition can decide on the expansion of the government today.

There have been criticisms that Prime Minister Deuba has not been able to expand the government even one month after he took over the helm of the government.
