Rajdhani News Publications chair Sherchan no more



KATHMANDU: Mahendra Sherchan, the chairman of Rajdhani News Publications, has died of coronavirus. He was 67.

He passed away in the course of treatment at the Nepal APF Hospital on Wednesday evening.

Sherchan, the founding chairman of Rajdhani News Publication, was also the former chairman of the Media Society, an umbrella organization of Nepali media operators.

He was also the founding president of the Foreign Employment Entrepreneurs Association (FEEA) and had become a member of the Constituent Assembly.

He is survived by his wife, three sons and a daughter.

The last rites will be performed at the electronic crematorium at Pashupati Aryaghat at 11 am.
