Two-way Dubai flights resume from today

KATHMANDU: Airlines that have been flying to Nepal from the UAE since last Monday will now be able to carry passengers from here as well.

As the COVID-19 Rapid PCR test facility was not available at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), the UAE opened the entrance for passengers from Nepal but without allowing anyone to go.

The Saudi Arabian airline Air Arabia started taking UAE passengers from here on Thursday but the Nepali airline was not able to do so.

Even Fly Dubai was only taking passengers from Nepal with a maximum of six hours transit to Dubai. Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) and Himalayan Airlines had been flying only to bring passengers from Dubai.
