Around 1.1 million population fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in Bagmati Province



KATHMANDU: The number of people getting the full course of the COVID-19 vaccine has reached around 1.1 million in the Bagmati Province.

According to the Social Development Ministry, 1,082,390 people above 18 have got the complete course of the vaccine and this number makes up 19 percent of the total population above 18 in the Province.

Vaccines with three brand names: Covishield, Vero Cell, and Janssen and Janssen were administered to the people.

Covishield and Vero Cell are the two-dose vaccines while Janssen and Janssen is the single-dose shot.

Likewise, the number of people receiving the first dose of the vaccines is 847,202.
