NEPSE decreases by 24.88 points



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has decreased by 24.88 points on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 3154.03 points.

A total of 35.55 million shares of 222 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 21.64 billion.

This is the highest one-day trading in the history of the Nepali stock market.

Earlier, the daily turnover had not reached more than Rs 20 billion. Today, Nepal Bank has the highest turnover of Rs 1.5 billion.

Shares of Ridi Hydro decreased the most at 8.5 percent.

Similarly, shares of Rasuwagadhi Hydro, Shree Investment Finance, Rasuwagadhi Hydro, and others have declined by more than 6 percent. Shares of Khanikhola Hydro, Jeevan Bikas Microfinance, and Union Life Company have increased by 10 percent.
