PM Deuba wishes success to Paras Khadka in life’s second innings

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has wished national cricketer and icon Paras Khadka success in the second innings of his life as the former Captain of the Nepali national cricket team recently announced retirement from international cricket.

Khadka met Prime Minister Deuba at the PM’s official residence in Baluwatar Saturday.

PM Deuba, thanking the cricketer for inspiring the nation during the first innings with his unforgettable matches and wins that inspired and made Nepalis stand tall, wished him success to repeat that glory once again in by other means in the second leg of life.

The government is always with you, PM Deuba tweeted Saturday after meeting Khadka.

The former Cricketer expressed a desire to enter politics on the second day of his retirement.
