Govt should learn from Oli’s journey from Baluwatar to Balkot: Prakash Man Singh

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Prakash Man Singh has remarked that the present coalition should learn all lessons from the fact that CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli reached Balkot after being dismissed from Baluwatar for making the mockery of the rule of law and public opinion.

Speaking at a program organized in Bhaktapur on Wednesday, leader Singh reminded that the self-centric and arrogant behavior of UML Chair Oli not only turned out to be counter-productive to him (Oli) but also caused a grave loss to the people and the country as a whole.

“The country suffered from the arrogance of KP Oli and the gap underlying in his promises and execution,” NC leader Singh said, urging the incumbent government, “If we fail to learn lesson from the wrong deeds of Oli and the consequences he faced afterwards, we will never be excused by the people and the party cadres.”

He urged the government to address the daily concerns and basic needs of the people and work sincerely on the best interest of the people as well.

Inaugurating the newly constructed ward office building at Madhyapur Municipality, Ward No. 3, Bhaktapur,  leader Singh asked the people’s representatives to be accountable to the people and the country.
