KATHMANDU: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 1,075 people in Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 766 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 146 in Bhaktapur, and 163 in Lalitpur.

In the last 24 hours, coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 3,938 people across the country.

According to the Ministry, 37 succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours throughout the country.

The country has 34,422 active cases as of Thursday.
