Three arrested with illegal arms

KATHMANDU: Police here have arrested three persons on the charge of illegal possession of arms in Kathmandu.
A police team deputed from Maharajgunj Police Circle, arrested 24-year-old Bikesh Magar, 25-year-old MandipThapa, and 19-year-old Sujan Magar of Dhading.

They were arrested from Gongabu based RK Hotel on Wednesday evening, said SP Ramesh Kumar Basnet, spokesperson of Kathmandu Police Range.

Police shared that they arrested them following dubious activities as Basnet had run away leaving the scooter in course of checking in front of BG Mall, Gangabu.

Police seized a pistol, a set of magazines, five rounds of bullets, two knives, and some packs of marijuana from them.
