Nation will be in dire crisis if alternative course is not taken: RPP Chairman Thapa



KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Kamal Thapa has warned that the country will face a terrible crisis if the alternative path for peace, stability and prosperity is not taken ahead.

Speaking at a virtual meeting of the party’s local level election mobilization committee on Wednesday, RPP Chair Thapa claimed that the republic, secularism and federalism were imposed by foreigners.

He claimed that RPP would be established as a strong nationalist democratic force in Nepal’s national politics and added that democracy, including the king, Sanatan Hindu Rastra and decentralized governance system based on autonomy of the local levels are necessary for the country as an alternative to republic, secularism and federalism.

Thapa argued that the RPP has to be strong in order to safeguard nation from foreign interference and influence.
