KATHMANDU: The task-force meeting of the ruling alliance is taking place at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar even today.
The taskforce that met for the second time Tuesday had decided to give final shape to the the common minimum program (CMP) of the government Wednesday.
Member-Secretary of the taskforce, Keshab Raj Joshi said, ” The meeting would give CMP a final shape Wednesday and a report to this effect would be submitted to the top leaders”.
The five-member task-force headed by Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Purna Bahadur Khadka is working to finalize the CMP of the current government.
The taskforce formed to provide support to the government in its operations consists of General Secretary Khadka and central member duo, Dr Minendra Rijal and Ramesh Lekhak from NC, Barshaman Pun and Dev Gurung from CPN (Maoist Center), and Mahendra Raya Yadav and Rajendra Shrestha from Janata Samajwadi Party.
The top leadership of ruling coalition would chart out future strategy once it receives the taskforce report.
