KATHMANDU: The government has appointed Dr. RP Bichchha as the Director General of the Department of Health Services (DoHS) on Tuesday.
According to senior sources in the Ministry of Health and Population, he has been given the responsibility of Director General despite the fact that he has got just few months for retirement.
Earlier, he was working as the Director of Kanti Children’s Hospital, Maharajgunj, Kathmandu.
Dr. Dipendra Raman Singh of DoHS has been transferred to the Ministry of Health and Population.
