Nepal records 3,899 new COVID-19 cases, 20 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 774 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 3,899 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 2,726 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 1,173 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 475 persons in Kathmandu, 167 in Lalitpur, and 132 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the capital valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 774 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 20 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 1,778 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
