Maoist Center Chair Prachanda meets with PM Deuba

Discuss cabinet expansion



KATHMANDU: A meeting has been held between Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda.

Chairman Prachanda reached the Prime Minister Deuba’s official residence in Baluwatar this morning to meet with Deuba.

According to a Baluwatar source, the expansion of the Council of Ministers was discussed during the meeting. Currently, there are two members in the Deuba-led cabinet from the ruling Maoist Center.

Discussions are underway on who else will be included in the government, which includes four other coalitions, including the Maoist Center.
