JSP dispute: EC grants official status to Chairman Upendra Yadav faction

34 out of 51 Executive Members sign in favor of Yadav faction



KATHMANDU: Giving its verdict on Janata Samjbadi Party (JSP) name dispute the Election Commission (EC) has granted the official status to Chairman Upendra Yadav faction.

Earlier, in a head-count of the executive members of JSP, 35 out of 51 members had signed in favor of Chairman Yadav faction.

EC had called the executive members to its office for signature verification on Monday.

Resham Chaudhary had shown himself neutral in the verdict.
