Vaccination is first priority: State Minister for Health Shrestha



KATHMANDU: Newly-appointed Minister of State for Health Umesh Shrestha has said his first priority was vaccinating all citizen against the coronavirus.

Health State Minister Shrestha said so after the swearing-in ceremony at Singha Durbar Sunday.

He said he would work proactively to fight the third wave of COVID-19. The state minister added he would prepare to develop and make the health sector robust and well-equipped.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba gave Shrestha the charge of the Health Ministry as Minister of State by keeping the ministry with himself.
