KATHMANDU: The ongoing prohibitory order has been extended by 10 days in Kathmandu Valley to curb the spread of COVID-19.

A meeting of chief district officers (CDOs) of Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur Sunday decided on a 10-day extension. The current prohibitory order was set to expire Sunday. The recent extension will end on August 4.

Lalitpur CDO Dhundi Prasad Niraula said the order was extended by easing restrictions on certain sectors.
