BJP leader Chauthaiwale dismayed by Dr Bhattarai’s tweet

Obvious that it is an insult to Hindu faith and rituals: Dr Vijay Chauthaiwale

KATHMANDU: Dr Vijay Chauthaiwale, In-Charge of the Foreign Affairs Department of India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has criticized former Prime Minister Dr Babu Ram Bhattarai for “insulting Hindu faith and rituals”.

Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, Chauthaiwale has said: “Baburam Ji, it’s quite obvious that you and your classmates would insult Hindu faith and rituals on the occasion of Eid.”

It may be noted that Dr Bhattarai had criticized the ritual carried out by Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath in a photo in which he was seen offering milk to the Ganges.

In his tweet, Dr Bhattarai said: “Faith is a dangerous thing. It makes you throw away milk and drink urine.”

Bhattarai had shared the tweet with the status on his wall saying that it was posted by his Indian classmate.
