One held with 5 kg silver jewelries



BIRGUNJ: Police have arrested a person with five kilograms of silver jewelries in Birgunj.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of police rounded up Angat Sah, the proprietor of Shriya Jewelers based at Khaireni Municipality-2, Chitwan.

Originally from Rajbiraj Sub Metropolitan-2, Meghara, Sah was arrested while he was walking in a suspicious manner in Birgunj-16, near Shankaracharya Gate, said DSP Om Prakash Khanal, the spokesperson of District Police Office, Parsa.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking Sah under control.
