KATHMANDU: With the onset of monsoon, the rain has been occurring in different parts of the country.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), light to moderate rain is falling in some places of Province 1, Gandaki, Bagmati and Far-Western provinces.
Due to the active monsoon, there is a possibility of ‘heavy’ rain in different parts of the country till Wednesday.
Heavy rain coupled with thunderstorm is expected in Gandaki, Lumbini and a few places in the far western region this afternoon.
Meanwhile, the Division has requested to take necessary precaution as there is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places in the Far-western region.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in many places across the country today afternoon.
There is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning in a few places in Province 1, Gandaki, Lumbini and Far-western Province.
