Prachanda holds talks with UML leader Nepal in Koteshwor

KATHMANDU: Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has held discussions with senior CPN-UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal at the latter’s residence in Koteshwor, Kathmandu, Saturday afternoon.

The two leaders held discussions on the future course of their partnership as they tread ahead.

The opposition alliance comprising of Maoists, leader Nepal faction of UML, Nepali Congress (NC) and Upendra Yadav faction of the Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) struggled jointly to reinstate the parliament and saw NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba become the prime minister of the country. However, the alliance’s victory will be cemented only after Deuba gains a vote of confidence from the parliament.

The alliance members have continued their discussions related to the national and political developments.
