Speaker Sapkota stresses greater unity among political parties

KATHMANDU: Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has stressed the need for greater national unity among political parties.

Talking to the media at the Parliament building in Naya Baneshwor, Kathmandu, Speaker Sapkota said that there was still a need for greater national unity keeping in mind the overall national situation.

“We need greater national unity to move forward and to fulfill the people’s aspirations into reality,” he said.

Sapkota reached the Parliament building to oversee preparations for convening the Parliament session on July 18. He also inspected the auditorium of the parliament building.

An antigen test was also conducted on the speaker and lawmakers Friday.
