High Court staff Bimala’s murder comes to revelation

KATHMANDU: Employee of the High Court Biratnagar,  Bimala Devi Parajuli, was found to have been murdered by a security guard.

The District Police Office, Ilam, unveiled the convict amidst a press conference Tuesday. It has been revealed that Yubaraj Baniya, a police personnel who was serving as the security guard of the chief judge, had murdered Bimala.

Bimala was found dead on the office premises on Monday. Police suspected that the murder incident was presumably held in the room of chief judge, who is now on leave.

The murder accused Baniya had the key of the room, police said. District Police Chief DSP Mahendra Kumar Shrestha shared that the suspect was held on Monday. According to him, the murder accused Baniya, a local of Dhankuta Holikharka-5, and deceased Parajuli had been in a relationship since long.
