CPN-Maoist Center proposes to form High-level Political Mechanism



KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Center has proposed the formation of a high-level political mechanism comprising top leaders of the parties in the political alliance formed against KP Oli-led government.

According to sources, most of the Maoist Center leaders of the Tuesday’s Standing Committee meeting urged the leadership to form a high-level political mechanism to regulate the future course of politics.

The leaders have also stressed on the need to form a separate mechanism in the party to regulate and guide the ministers in the government.

“The participants stressed on the need to form a high level political mechanism to regulate the government and a mechanism within the party to monitor the leaders in the government,” an SC member said.

According to a leader, Maoist Center Chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has shared his opinion with other leaders of the political alliance to support Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba.
