KATHMANDU: Senior Nepali Congress (NC) leader Ram Chandra Poudel has thanked Supreme Court (SC) justices and congratulated party President Sher Bahadur Deuba.
Taking to social media following the SC verdict to reinstate parliament and appoint Deuba as prime minister Monday, he said the campaign undertaken for the protection of the constitution was successful.
The SC issued an order to appoint Deuba as the PM by 5 pm Tuesday.
Poudel said the SC decision had thwarted attempts to jeopardize national politics and saved the constitution and parliament.
