PM Oli to hold talks with Nepal prior to SC meeting



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is also the CPN-UML party chair, is holding a one-on-one meeting with senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal today.

The meeting between the two heavyweights has been arranged prior to the Standing Committee (SC) meeting scheduled for today, informed SC member Subas Nembang.

Nembang informed that Prime Minister Oli will propose Nepal for a meeting over the telephone before the time is fixed.

Following the meeting with Nepal, the SC meeting will take place, said Nembang.

The meeting scheduled for 5 pm today will endorse the decision taken by the UML Dispute Resolution Taskforce on Sunday night.

Party chair Oli has called a meeting of the Central Committee on Tuesday.
